Nottingham Trent University Background:
Nottingham Trent University is a public research university which was established in the year 1843 as the Nottingham Government School of Design and later on, it was founded as a new university in 1992. The university is situated in Nottingham, England and is considered as the 13th largest university in the UK.

Nottingham Trent University comprises 3 Colleges College of Business, Law and Social Sciences, College of Art, Architecture, Design and Humanities, and the College of Science and Technology. The university offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programs to the students. Some of the Bachelor’s courses are; Accounting and Finance, Animal Biology, Artisan Food Production, Biochemistry, Audio and Music Technology, and more. Some of the Postgraduate courses offered by the university are; Advanced Materials Engineering, Advanced Social Work Practice, Applied Child Psychology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Broadcast Journalism, and many others. Along with the degree courses, NTU also provides the students with short degree courses like; Interior Designing, Song Writing and Singing, Animations, Game and Fantasy Arts, and few Architectural courses as well.

Nottingham Trent University consists of four campuses; City Campus, Brackenhurst campus, Clifton Campus, and the Creative Quarter Campus. The City campus is located in the north of Nottingham City Centre, it offers courses to the students from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Law School, School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, School of Art & Design, School of Social Sciences and the Centre for Broadcasting & Journalism. The university also comprises a Library known as “Boots Library”. The library is open 24-7 for the students with a first-class learning environment.

The university provides 60 sports clubs to the students where they get a multi-purpose sports hall, indoor pitches and courts, a two-story, 100-station gym, a sports therapy suite, a dance studio, hosting fitness classes and club sessions, and a 30ft climbing wall. Along with all these facilities the university has different student unions for student activities and events, a Student Advice Centre, leisure and retail services, democratic representation and night-time entertainment at all three NTU campuses.
