You will leave this course equipped with the knowledge and understanding of classical core engineering principles and the ability to apply your skills creatively and responsibly to resolve real-world engineering problems. Graduates will be able to work towards chartered Engineer status. The MEng Civil Engineering degree is influenced by government initiatives, the guidance of our industry partners and relevant professional bodies to ensure our teaching is at the forefront of this sector. The University will be seeking accreditation from the Joint Board of Moderators, which comprises the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Institute of Highway Engineers in 2019. This ensures that the skills and knowledge taught by our academics are relevant to the workplace and in line with latest developments within the industry.
Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 65% and above, 120 UCAS Tariff points . From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent. Should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).A-level Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology), or recognised equivalents.
