Northumbria University

Northumbria University or formally the University of Northumbria at Newcastle is a prestigious public high education institute in Newcastle, England. Northumbria University History

Northumbria University's history originated in three different colleges in Newcastle. It started with Rutherford College of Technology, the College of Arts and Industrial Design, and the Municipal College of Commerce. These three institutions merged to form Newcastle Polytechnic in the year 1969. University gained its status and power in 1992.
