Associate of arts in music in Skyline college

Music allows us to express thoughts, ideas and emotions through vocal and instrumental sounds. In order to succeed in the field of music, students should demonstrate a curiosity for how we can affect, and better understand, the world around us through musical expression. The courses of the Music Program at Skyline College are specifically designed to fill the needs of beginners, students seeking a career in the music business or who are preparing to transfer to a university, and individuals who simply want to enhance their musical enjoyment. In addition to a wide variety of courses, we offer three Associate of Arts Degrees in Music, two of which are specifically geared for students looking to transfer to a four-year institution.
