The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Technology is designed for individuals seeking to work in a technical area or who have considerable work experience seeking better upward mobility in their professions. Students can receive up to 15 credit hours for extensive work experience, certifications, licenses, or apprenticeships. Additionally, students who earn certifications in many 900+ hour technical programs offered throughout the Utah Technical College system can transfer in their certificate and receive up to 30 hours of academic credit, or almost half the credit required to graduate from the AAS.
