Utah Valley University abbreviated as UVU is an American higher education institution in Orem, Utah. The university was established in 1941 as Utah Valley State College and was conferred university status in 2008. It currently enrols over 41000 undergraduate and graduate students.

The campus in Oren comprises of 48 buildings built using unfinished concrete.

Utah Valley University Scholarships

1. Alumni Family Endowed Scholarship

Alumni Family Endowed Scholarship is awarded to the students who are juniors or seniors and must be the children of Utah Valley University (UVU) alumni. Alumni relations, continuing, freshmen, private and transfer students are eligible to contest for the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant
• Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Should be in a Junior or Senior year at the time of application
• Should be the child of an Alumnus who has earned a certificate or associates or bachelor’s degree from the UVU

 

2. Global Engagement Scholarship

The Office for Global Engagement Scholarship is awarded to current Utah Valley University UVU) students who have applied for a UVU Faculty-led Study Abroad programs at the university.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant
• Should be enrolled at the Utah Valley University before applying for the scholarship.
• Should have maintained a GPA of 2.0 or above
• Should have completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA)
