Utah Valley University 

Utah Valley University is a public university in Orem, Utah. UAV offers master’s, bachelor’s, associate degrees and minor and major programs. The University previously called Utah Valley State College, The University get affiliated by Utah Legislation in July 2008.

Utah Valley University History 

Utah Valley University was founded in 1941, as a vocational school. It has two campus that time. In 1967 it became Technical college in Provo. In 1987 became Utah Valley Community college. Finally in 2008  the college renamed as Utah Valley University.  The university is the largest university in the state with 39,931 students enrolled in every year.

1. Alumni Family Endowed Scholarship

Alumni Family Endowed Scholarship is awarded to the students who are juniors or seniors and must be the children of Utah Valley University (UVU) alumni. Alumni relations, continuing, freshmen, private and transfer students are eligible to contest for the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant
• Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Should be in a Junior or Senior year at the time of application
• Should be the child of an Alumnus who has earned a certificate or associates or bachelor’s degree from the UVU

 

2. Global Engagement Scholarship

The Office for Global Engagement Scholarship is awarded to current Utah Valley University UVU) students who have applied for a UVU Faculty-led Study Abroad programs at the university.
