Program Overview

The Associate of Applied Science AWS Advanced Level Welder Emphasis provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful employment as advanced level welders in welding and related metal working industries. A continuation of the COA requirements, students will receive additional instruction in advanced SMAW and GTAW, pipe welding, welding codes and fabrication. Upon completion of the AAS degree requirements, students may certify as AWS Advanced Level Welders.
