Program Overview

Information Technology, including security, telecommunications and network and computer systems engineering and administration, is an essential component to almost every organization, large or small. It provides the foundation for a productive, secure and connected workplace, allowing organizations to operate effectively and efficiently. The Network Engineering Technology Program provides students with entry-level and advanced training in the fields of Network Technology and Security, including LAN Technology, cabling, fiber optics, routing, firewalls, server administration, desktop support and PC configuration and repair. The curriculum is industry driven, centered on the current technologies of the Networking industry and related fields; it is designed to serve students entering the field as well as students who are seeking to upgrade their skills in specific areas.
