Program Overview

The Natural Resources Conservation (NRC) associate of applied science (A.A.S.) program is the largest and oldest comprehensive environmental program offering the associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree in New York State. The NRC curriculum provides a scientific and technical education for those who will seek employment in areas directly involved with the environment and flexibility for students interested in advanced degrees. Many graduates are transferring into a number of environmental studies programs at major universities throughout the United States or pursuing the Renewable Resources B.Tech. program offered in the Department.
