Morrisville State College, formerly the State University of New York at Morrisville or SUNY Morrisville, is a college of the State University of New York. It offers more than 20 bachelor's degrees, 50 associate degrees and 3 certificate programs at two campuses in central New York: Morrisville and Norwich. The college is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Morrisville campus includes over 50 buildings spread across an area adjacent to US 20. The campus is in Morrisville, located in Central New York, about 30 miles (48 km) from both Syracuse and Utica.
Morrisville is well-known for programs in business and entrepreneurship, agriculture and sustainability, hospitality and restaurant management, criminal justice, equine science and rehabilitation, and automotive. The college follows a semester based academic calendar.
It has a total undergraduate enrollment of more than 3,000. The campus has a rural setting and the campus size is more than 150 acres. The student to faculty ratio at the college is 16:1.
The college has partnered with ONCAMPUS SUNY (State University of New York), which provides International First Year, International First Year Extra and English Language Preparation courses. International First Year is a 2 semester program that prepares the students for successful progression to year-2 of a SUNY Institution degree. The International First Year Extra is a study program designed for those students who need additional English skills development while starting their university studies. English Language Preparation course is designed for the students who need additional English language preparation before their International First Year.
