The Asian Studies Program offers students the framework to explore the politics and culture of Asian countries from an interdisciplinary perspective. The program is composed of a basic core of courses from a variety of disciplines that provide a common framework that focuses on the languages, cultures, political economy and commerce of Asia, aiming to provide students with a broad foundation of knowledge that will influence and inform their future careers. Students enrolled in the Asian Studies program have the option to participate in the Study Abroad Program in China where students will gain valuable first-hand experience through value-added education that will assist them in making the transition from the classroom to the real world in a bilingual and multicultural environment.
