In the Artificial Intelligence variant of the bachelor Lifestyle Informatics, the focus is on building intelligent systems, ie the development, application and evaluation of new intelligent algorithms. You study how computers can learn automatically, but also how they can acquire, represent and apply knowledge on a large scale.You will learn three different things during the Bachelor's program: the necessary computer science and skills, such as Programming, Databases and Algorithms; a sound mathematical foundation for using and evaluating new methods, such as Logic, Algebra or Statistics; and general AI methodology and techniques, such as Automatic Learning and Building Intelligent Systems.
A diploma equivalent to the Dutch pre-university VWO diploma, Transcript(s) of records, Curriculum Vitae, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C/ minimum score of 176, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C/ minimum score of 176, State Examination Dutch as a second language, programme II (NT2-II), VU-NT2 Department, CNaVT Certificate.
