University of Central Lancashire
The University of Central Lancashire (popularly known as UCLan) is a public university based in Preston, Lancashire, England. Though the university status was granted in 1992, the institution traces its roots in ‘The Institution for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge’ which was founded in 1828. The university has its main campus in Preston and branch campuses in Burnley, Westlakes and Cyprus.

UCLan has a student population of more than 24,400 of which over 20,000 are enrolled n the under graduate courses. The university has a student to faculty ratio of 15:1. It has a well developed network of academic partnerships across the world to facilitate staff and student exchange.

ONCAMPUS UCLan offers Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP), Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme (MUFP) and Master’s Foundation Programme (MFP). UFP gives guaranteed progression (subject to fulfillment of specified criteria) to Year-1 of a wide range of undergraduate degrees. MUFP gives the opportunity to apply to Year-1 of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and the MFP gives the guaranteed progression (subject to fulfillment of specified criteria) to many Master’s degrees.
