Middlesex University was granted the university status in 1992, prior to that it was known as Middlesex Polytechnic which was founded in 1973-74. The university has its main campus in London, UK and branch campuses in Dubai, Malta and Mauritius. The Dubai campus was opened in 2005, the Mauritius campus was opened in 2010 and the Malta campus was opened in 2013.
The Dubai campus offers the same curriculum, examinations and degree certificates as the London campus. It offers programmes in Accountancy, Law, Business, Psychology, Communications & Media, Computing Science, Tourism and Hospitality, Human Resource Management, Film, Information Technology and Hospitality Management.
More than 2500 students from 90 different countries across the world are enrolled at the Middlesex University Dubai campus.
