Program Overview

If you're passionate about filmmaking and visual storytelling, this degree gives you the opportunity to turn your creativity into practical industry skills. You'll gain hands-on experience across every stage of screen production, from developing ideas and writing scripts to directing, filming, editing and producing content for film, television and digital platforms.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1

Build a strong foundation in filmmaking by learning the fundamentals of screen storytelling, production techniques and visual language. You'll study subjects such as Screen Language and Aesthetics, Screen Production, and Story Development while gaining practical production experience.

Year 2

Expand your creative and technical skills through larger collaborative projects. Courses including Documentary Production, Television Studio Production, and Interactive Storytelling help you explore different styles and formats of screen media.

Year 3

Focus on producing professional-quality screen projects while developing your own creative direction. You'll complete Major Screen Production, study Screen Entrepreneurship, and choose specialist electives in areas such as directing, cinematography or producing.
