Year 2
In your second year, you’ll take on more complex design challenges. Units such as Industrial Design Studio 3a – Human Centred Design and Industrial Design Studio 3b – Human Factors and Usability teach you to design with real people in mind. You’ll also expand your skills with Principles of UX Design and Design Perspectives, while Industrial Design Studio 4a – Production and Structures and Industrial Design Studio 4b – Production and Sustainability help you understand how to make products that are both functional and environmentally conscious.

Year 3
In the final year, you’ll put all your learning into action with advanced projects. Industrial Design Production Technology and Industrial Design Practice focus on professional skills, while Industrial Design Studio 5a – Systems and Industrial Design Studio 5b – Service teach you to design complex products and services. Your capstone, Industrial Design Studio 6 – Capstone Project, gives you the chance to solve a real-world problem and create a portfolio-ready project that showcases your skills.
