Year 1

 You’ll get a solid foundation in both law and business, discovering how legal systems operate alongside essential business concepts. Core courses like Introduction to Law, Legal Interpretation and Persuasion, Accounting Principles, and Marketing Essentials introduce you to critical thinking, decision-making, and practical tools for business and legal contexts.

Year 2

This year deepens your understanding of key legal and business principles. You’ll study Property A & B, Constitutional Law, and Contract Law, while also exploring business strategies in economics, management, and information systems, building the skills to analyse, advise, and make informed decisions in professional settings.

Year 3

 You begin to specialize and apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios. With courses such as Corporations Law, Administrative Law, and Business, Governance and Society, you develop hands-on experience in negotiation, dispute resolution, and ethical business practice, preparing you for internships and practical placements.

Year 4

 Focus shifts to advanced legal practice and strategic business insight. Courses like Evidence, Professional Conduct, and your chosen business major allow you to refine your expertise, craft persuasive arguments, and tackle complex problems with confidence.

Year 5

 You’ll consolidate your learning through applied projects or work-integrated placements while completing Community Legal Practice and elective law units. By the end, you’re ready to step into legal practice or business leadership with a clear, practical understanding of both fields.
