University of the Sunshine Coast History

University of the Sunshine Coast was established in 1994 and is located Queensland, Australia. Its establishment was approved by the Australian Federal Government to serve and educate the population of sunshine coast.

University of the Sunshine Coast Programs, Courses, and Schools

University of the Sunshine Coast offers bachelors, masters and research level programs for its students through faculties namely Arts, Business, Law, Science, Health, Education and Engineering. The University focused its studies in the disciplines of Business, IT and Tourism, Creative Industries, Design and Communication, Education, Engineering and Science, Health, Nursing and Sports Sciences, Humanities, Psychology and Social Sciences and Law and Criminology.

University of the Sunshine Coast main campus is at Sippy Downs. However, the University holds teaching facilities in Noosa and also comprises of educational and research facilities on Fraser Island.

As per the Hobson’s Good Universities Guide, the University of the Sunshine Coast received five stars for their quality of teaching, staff qualifications and the satisfaction of the students with the skills they were taught.

The Australian Universities Quality Agency recognized and gave a good ranking to USC for its significant achievements.
