It’s ideal for anyone who wants to blend business knowledge with real, meaningful impact.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1

Your first year sets you up with the essentials. You’ll explore how businesses work, how decisions are made, and why organisations succeed or struggle. Subjects like business law, accounting, economics and marketing help you build a solid base so you can confidently move into your sustainability-focused studies later on.

Year 2

In second year, you start diving deeper into the sustainability side of business. Alongside your core business units, you’ll explore subjects such as Sustainable Business Practices, Environmental and Natural Resources Economics, and Climate Change and Business Development. These subjects help you understand how businesses can grow while still protecting the planet and improving society.

Your final year is all about applying everything you’ve learned. You’ll take on a capstone subject where you solve real-world business challenges—often with opportunities for internships or industry projects. Within the Sustainable Business major, you’ll also explore advanced topics like modern slavery, decarbonisation strategies, and business models that create genuine social and environmental value.
