The Computing and Software Systems major is designed for students who wish to develop considerable technical expertise, including exposure to a variety of programming paradigms, an understanding of the systematic processes underpinning the software development lifecycle, and an appreciation of advanced topics in computing.

Units 3 & 4: A study score of at least 25 in English/English Language/Literature or at least 30 in EAL, and a study score of at least 25 in Mathematical Methods (CAS) or Specialist Mathematics and in one of Biology, Chemistry or Physics; OR Units 3 & 4: A study score of at least 25 in English/English Language/Literature or at least 30 in EAL, and a study score of at least 25 in both Mathematical Methods (CAS) and Specialist Mathematics, Test scores: TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, CAE
