Curriculum Structure:

Year 1:
Students begin with Honours Research - Methods and Planning (HNE420), learning how to design and plan scientific research projects. This stage focuses on developing foundational research methodologies and critical analysis skills, preparing students to tackle complex scientific questions.

Year 2:
In Honours Research - Developing Practice (HNE421), students apply their knowledge to real-world scientific problems, refining practical research skills and gaining hands-on experience under academic supervision. They also start developing their independent research project.

Year 3:
Honours Research - Advanced Practice (HNE422) allows students to deepen their practical research capabilities, engage with advanced techniques, and critically evaluate scientific literature.

Year 4:
Finally, in Honours Research – Project Examination (HNE423), students complete and submit a rigorous thesis or research report, demonstrating scientific rigor and contributing to their chosen field of study.
