Program Overview

The Bachelor of Education (Primary) allows you to specialise your skills in these areas: science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM), English, humanities/arts, health, physical education, and languages (including Greek, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Indonesian, French and Chinese). You also have the option to complete a sequence of study so you are qualified to teach as a Special Education teacher. The program is designed to allow you to focus on social work and wellbeing as areas of study to further diversify your employment options as a primary teacher.

Additional Information & Requirements

All Indian Secondary School Certificate: 75%, Average of best five subjects, VCE English Units 3 and 4 study score of at least 25, or at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL). VCE mathematics Units 1 and 2, not Foundation Mathematics., ATAR of 65, IELTS (Academic) score of 7.5 with no individual band score less than 7.0 and a score of no less than 8.0 in Speaking and Listening, TOEFL ibT of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing, PTE Academic of 50 with no communicative skill score less than 50, CAE/ CPE of 169 with no less than 169 in any component
