Program Overview

The Bachelor of Education (Primary R-7)/Bachelor of General Science will provide you with the background and skills necessary to teach in primary schools, from reception to year seven, with confidence and competence. This course also allows you to specialise in two broad science areas together with science electives. This will enable you to build up knowledge and skills across science disciplines at a much broader level suitable for teaching science within a primary school context. As a student in the course, you are required to be available full-time to undertake professional experiences in a range of diverse educational contexts. Requirements of professional experience include obtaining a child related employment screening.
