Program Overview

Flinders offers fully integrated five-year qualifications for high-achieving students that enable you to graduate with a Master of Teaching on top of a bachelor degree. Education topics are studied in all five years of the double degree together with topics in two languages plus other language specialist topics in the first three years. In the final years you study topics from the Master of Teaching. In addition to your Bachelor/Master of Teaching you can also complete a Master of Education with a minimum of an additional semester of study. The Bachelor of Languages/Master of Teaching (Secondary) prepares you to become a specialised language teacher in a secondary school. On successful completion of this double degree, students will be able to teach two of the following secondary school subject disciplines: French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek, Spanish, Chinese, and English as a Second Language.
