4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Adelaide

Program Overview

Petroleum engineers are designers. They create, plan and supervise all aspects of petroleum recovery: helping to find oil and gas; assessing how much is there; designing the wells and processing facilities to get as much out as possible; supervising and optimising production operations and ultimately, planning for the abandonment of the project. All of these designs and operational plans must be economic and safe from a human and environmental perspective.
