Program Overview

The Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences allows students to study both society and science, and interactions between the two. This prepares students for a wide range of careers in policy, government, communication, business and industry. With a core drawn from Science, History, English, Philosophy and Aboriginal Studies, students examine how scientific and other types of knowledge are created and communicated. Students will investigate its accuracy, reliability, effectiveness, and ethical and social impacts.
