Program Overview

If you have completed Year 12 and wish to study medicine, Flinders University now offers you a unique pathway. Through this pathway you can complete a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences combined with the Doctor of Medicine in six years. In the first two years, you will undertake studies in Clinical Sciences with either a Medical Science or Health Sciences focus. These studies provide the preparation for entry to the four year Doctor of Medicine component. Subject to passing all topics in these first two years and gaining a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (Credit average) you will then undertake the four-year graduate-entry medical program. Students graduate as doctors and undertake an intern year to qualify for full medical registration.
