Additional Information & Requirements

IELTS: minimum 7.0 overall, with 7.0 in each band (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing)
Applicants must meet professional registration requirements set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), including English Language Skills standard.
Applicants will complete a declaration stating how they demonstrate English language proficiency, which may require English language test results.
All students must confirm they meet the Fitness to Practice in Clinical Placements requirements upon entry to the program.
Students are required to be registered as a ‘Student’ with the NMBA.
Students must provide a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check issued within the prior 12-month period from an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) Accredited provider upon entry.
Students must demonstrate full compliance with the program's Inherent Requirements upon entry, on each re-enrolment, and prior to clinical placement allocation, including a Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS worker check, evidence of immunisation/vaccination status, and professional training.
Students are required to satisfy the standard of dress, behaviour and fitness for practice as prescribed by institutions in which clinical placements are undertaken.
Students are required to attend compulsory on-campus workshops/seminars for these courses.
Attendance requirements apply to the clinical components of the program; students must attend on a full-time basis for the duration of the placement period.
Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).
Completion of an award from a registered training organisation (RTO) at Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or higher.
Successful completion of at least 6 months full-time study (or equivalent part-time) in a higher education award program.
