Program Overview

The Honours program has been structured to match the timing of Australian and North American internship/training programs. Students pursuing training opportunities in North America will be able to commence at the beginning of that program, which is mid-year. Students electing to undertake the Honours program in March to December, in line with current NSW Health Policy, will be eligible to commence NSW internships in the following year. Upon completion of the MBBS (Honours) degree you will have an extensive range of career options and will be able to undertake work in private or public health, academia, research, aid organisations, the defence forces, or a combination of these areas.
