Established in1951, the University of Wollongong is a university in the coastal city of Wollongong, Australia. The university has nine campuses in Australia, and opened the University of Wollongong Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 1993. It also has presence in Hongkong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The total student population at the University of Wollongong is more than 29,900 students of which over 23,000 are enrolled in the undergraduate programs. The university’s student body represents 179 nationalities.

It is ranked 17th in the world by QS Top 50 Under 50 Rankings 2018 and 30th by Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2017.
