RMIT offers one of the only stand-alone applied mathematics undergraduate programs in Australia. Mathematics graduates apply their problem-solving skills to a wide variety of fields, including: banking and finance; environmental modelling (resources, biodiversity, weather and climate); data sciences and decision science; network sciences; sport management; logistics; management; information security (coding, cryptography); engineering (fluid mechanics, optimising industrial processes); education and research.
