The Bachelor of Mathematics teaches highly transferable skills in problem solving, data analysis, probability and variability, mathematical modelling, logistics and logic. The degree is flexible, so you can take up to one third of your subjects from other disciplines to expand your career options. Applied Statistics uses mathematical concepts and methods to develop scientific experiments, sample surveys, medical clinical trials and environmental studies. It uses mathematical models of variation to enable analysis and forecasting in many industries.
