Bachelor of Arts Enhanced Program for High Achievers in Philosophy

Philosophy deals with some of the big questions about the world, ourselves and our society. Philosophy topics encourage thought and discussion by presenting a range of possible answers to important questions and a thorough background in philosophical issues and methods. Philosophical views have important political and moral implications, and philosophically-trained people are increasingly playing important roles in debates on medical ethics, the environment, women s issues, industrial relations, business ethics, and cognitive science. Some aspects of philosophy are relevant to a great many other areas of study, from history, politics and economics to computer studies or screen studies.
