This program of study is provided for students who intend to embark on a career in the maritime industry as Marine Engineer Officers on commercial vessels. It provides the knowledge and skills required to safely manage, facilitate, and undertake operation and maintenance linked to the shipboard marine engineering systems. Course content includes marine engineering and systems, vessel structure and operations, cargo and passenger transport, vessel management, marine legislation, marine survey and shipboard safety.
