Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) will provide you with comprehensive training in the processes basic to human psychological functioning required for qualification as a professional psychologist. You can also combine your Psychology major with other disciplines available in the Bachelor of Arts degree. This will allow you to expand your understanding of the human experience and broaden your career options. The Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) will teach you the processes basic to human psychology. Subjects include biological and social bases of behaviour, cognition and perception, social and developmental psychology, personality, and applied psychology. You will also learn the fundamentals of psychological practice, including the history of psychology, statistical and quantitative methods, and psychological assessment.
