Curriculum Structure

Year 1:
You begin by building a solid grounding in psychology and research fundamentals, learning how human behaviour is studied and understood. Through units like Psychology 1A, Psychology 1B, and Foundations of Psychological Research, alongside Introduction to Sociology and Interpersonal Skills and Communication, you develop key academic, analytical, and communication skills essential for psychological study.

Year 2:
In the second year, your learning becomes more specialised, focusing on human development and research methods used in psychology. Subjects such as Developmental Psychology, Psychology 2A, Psychology 2B, and Quantitative Social Research Methods help you understand behaviour across the lifespan and build strong data analysis and research capabilities.

Year 3:
Your final year focuses on advanced theory, application, and real-world experience. You will study History, Theories and Practice of Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, and Clinical Aspects of Psychology, alongside completing a fieldwork placement, allowing you to apply psychological concepts in professional settings and gain industry exposure.
