Program Overview

Enable the student to fully exercise the profession of Architect and Urbanist. Train professionals to prepare architectural projects for new buildings, with their different uses, and recover old buildings and urban complexes, considering the interests and needs of current and future users of the projected spaces and the possible impacts caused by the proposed changes. Develop a critical analysis of existing buildings and urban and rural environments, based on both the theory and history of Architecture and Urbanism, as well as knowledge of materials and construction techniques. Prepare the professional for the elaboration of landscaping projects and urban projects for urban sections, neighborhoods and cities, as well as for urban, metropolitan and regional planning.
