The Pedagogy Course of the Academic Center of Agreste aims to train professionals able to act as pedagogues and educational managers whose skills extend beyond the classroom functions. The Pedagogy student at UFPE is guided to develop a critical view in relation to his context of performance, bearing in mind that all interactions present in the environment have their value as teaching-learning instruments.

The Pedagogy course trains professionals to work in teaching, organizing and managing systems, units, educational projects and school and non-school experiences. It also aims to prepare you for the production and dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge in the educational field and in several emerging areas of education, with teaching as a mandatory basis for your training and professional identity.
