Bachelors in Oceanography

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Rio de Janeiro State University

Program Overview

The Oceanography , framed between Exact and Earth Sciences, studies the oceans in all its aspects, both with regard to its biotic and abiotic components, as well as with regard to the processes that act in these environments. Based on four other very broad sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology, and making use of other sciences that complement it, such as Meteorology and Climatology, OCEANOGRAPHY is a multi, inter and transdisciplinary science that integrates several areas of knowledge and analyzes the marine environment not in a compartmentalized way, but as a complex system that is constantly interacting in all its aspects, which allows it to have a holistic view of the OCEAN environment.
