The Federal University of Bahia adhered to the Federal Universities Restructuring and Expansion Program (REUNI), it was possible to create the Undergraduate Course in Zootechnics , integrated into the then School of Veterinary Medicine, which became known as School of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, Federal University of Bahia (EMEVZ - UFBA ).
