The common core is composed of curricular components that will provide the student with the basis of their training in Statistics in the following areas: Mathematics, Computing, Probability, Statistics, Portuguese Language and Administration. The specific nucleus corresponds to the optional curricular components that the student will choose to complement his training. The student can choose to follow more than one specific nucleus. The suggested nuclei are: Mathematical Statistics; Biostatistics; Technological; and Economic-Social. However, the student will be able to choose the set of optional components he / she desires, and may have specific or general training.
