The Bachelor of Chemistry course at the Federal University of Pernambuco, under the responsibility of the Department of Fundamental Chemistry, is offered as a day course. The course has been offered since the creation of the DQF in 1984. Students on the bachelor's degree have acquired training in the most modern research topics in chemistry and participate in scientific activities in renowned research groups. The select number of students allows for personalized training focused on the student's profile.

The Chemistry Degree course at the Federal University of Pernambuco, under the responsibility of the Fundamental Chemistry Department, is offered as an evening course. Historically the Licenciatura was offered together with the Bachelor's degree during the day.
