Program Overview

The Bachelor of Economics course begins the formation of students by teaching the philosophical and epistemological foundations of the modern sciences. Learning advances in search of the balance between the contents of economic theory, quantitative methods and philosophical-humanist. At the end, the student will have the option to deepen their knowledge in specific fields of Economic Theory, such as Institutional Economics, Regional Economics, Econometrics, Macroeconomics and Finance. Throughout the course, students will have a solid background in Economics and Quantitative Methods and acquire skills to deal with the economic dimensions of complex problems in contemporary society. The training offered also develops skills for acting in multidisciplinary teams for the elaboration, execution and evaluation of projects, programs and policies.
