The course at UFABC is focused on the study and teaching of the political and economic dimensions of Brazil's new insertion in the international system in favor of its economic and social development. With this, it intends to train professionals capable of understanding and dealing with the challenges of the globalized economy and the insertion of Brazil in the international political scenario, in particular from four areas of knowledge: Geopolitics of energy and natural resources; Productive globalization, science, technology and innovation; South American economic, political and cultural integration; and Global governance and power relations.
