Program Overview

This program provides a solid background in product development from concept to manufacturing. It aims to acquire a thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as economic, environmental, ethical and aesthetic considerations in product design (object, service, product-service system). It seeks to train designers who want to make tangible changes for the benefit of society. The undergraduate product design student is first trained to design and develop products as components of a business and business strategy. The program encourages the spirit of entrepreneurship, discovery, openness and empathy.
