The Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) - Major Jazz Performance (Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Drums, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Voice) program requires 91 credits (plus 35 credits for the Freshman requirement for out-of-province students). First-year students who have completed the Quebec Diploma of Collegial Studies (Dipl me d' tudes coll giales) in a Jazz concentration or equivalent, or students transferring from other universities or colleges, and have completed a course in the history of Jazz will be exempted from the first-year Jazz History Survey requirement (MUJZ 187).
