The Music Recording Arts (MRA) program is a 5 year, compressed, collaborative program offered by the Don Wright Faculty of Music and Fanshawe College. Students in their second year of the Bachelor of Musical Arts program are eligible to apply for the Music Recording Arts program. Successful graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Musical Arts (BMusA) degree from the University of Western Ontario and a two-year Ontario College Diploma in Music Industry Arts (MIA) from Fanshawe College.

Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, Complete the questionnaire, two letter of recommendation forms, theory placement test, Interview
