The Science and Business program at the University of Waterloo uniquely integrates rigorous scientific training with core business knowledge. Students study biology, chemistry, and physics alongside accounting, economics, marketing, law, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum supports flexible pathways, with optional specializations in Biochemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology, and access to over 100 electives across faculties. The program emphasizes practical experience through real-world projects, such as case studies, business plans, and market analysis.
Waterloo’s globally recognized co-op program allows students to alternate between academic and professional terms, gaining up to two years of paid experience. Graduates are well-prepared for roles across science-based industries and business functions.
