The BEd Middle Years option prepares pre-service educators for the varied contexts in middle schools with a special emphasis on self-regulated learning.Those wishing to work with children aged 13 to 15 (Grades 6 to 8) will learn to teach core subject areas in the Middle Years curriculum, including Core French.

Final grade of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or equivalent course, including provincial examinations where applicable), Graduation from high school with a minimum average of 70%, UAE Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-Amma). Certificates must be official, Grades required for admission will vary by program, but based on the UAE grading scale, the minimum average needed to fall within the competitive range is approximately 84% on a 60% pass-scale, Test scores: IELTS of 6.5, with no part less than 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 90.
