If you currently hold a journeyperson s certificate and you want to teach your trade at the secondary level, this program is for you. Your trade will become your first teaching area and the College of Education will provide you with the skills necessary for you to pass on your trade to others.

Minimum Requirements: 120 credit units, Biology 30 or Chemistry 30 or Physics 30 or Earth Science 30, or Computer Science 30, History 30 or Social Studies 30 or Native Studies 30, 30-level language other than English or a Fine/Performing Art, Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30, IELTS (Academic): Overall Band Score 6.5 with minimum individual scores of Reading: 6 , Listening: 6, Speaking: 6, Writing: 6, TOEFL: Internet Based 86 with minimum individual scores of Reading: 19, Listening: 19, Speaking: 19 , Writing: 19 , PTE Academic: Overall score of 63 with minimum individual skills scores of Reading: 59, Listening: 59, Speaking: 59, Writing: 59, Advanced (CAE): C with 65 score
